Selected for NTHU's flagship interdisciplinary honors program — engineering one half of the brain through operations research, statistics and product systems, the other through data structures, computer architecture, HPC and cloud-native development.

The thread tying it together: technology that earns its keep. A Hult Prize national-stage vision-care startup. AI companions for student wellbeing and juvenile rehabilitation. Student councils, multi-country conferences, and youth forums on three continents.

I like problems that are equal parts technical and human — and I like shipping the answer.

Vision Care

★ Hult Prize NTHU Champion National Stage Mobile App Supply Chain

Co-founder · Cross-border team

Co-founded with Indonesian partners met through international youth forums. A mobile app that lets users in emerging markets self-test their vision for free and buy affordable prescription glasses through a low-cost eyewear supply chain. Won the NTHU campus round and advanced as a Taiwan team to the Hult Prize national stage.

Conversation & safety design

An AI companion for student wellbeing, incubated through NTHU Garage. Owned the conversation design and the safety / escalation flow for sensitive emotional topics — a chatbot that proactively checks in on students' mental health without being intrusive.

Project Lead · Selected nationally

Selected nationally to lead a youth social-impact initiative on juvenile rehabilitation. Built an LLM-based mentor chatbot for juvenile offenders alongside in-person art-therapy workshops co-hosted with international NGO partners — a pilot to reduce reoffending through accessible, low-stigma after-care.

Led the academic committee for a multi-country student conference — designed the discussion track and curated speakers across participating universities. Joined the 2024 edition as a delegate, then returned in 2025 to lead.

Co-led the student council; coordinated annual events, academic mentoring and cross-department collaboration. Drove communications and budgeting workflows that lifted event attendance and member retention.
